Privacy Policy for Dues

1. Overview

MNK Solutions built the Dues application as a privacy-first, offline utility. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We believe your financial habits, recurring subscriptions, and bills are strictly personal. Therefore, Dues is engineered to operate 100% locally on your device without transmitting data to external servers.

2. Information Collection and Storage

• Local Data Storage: All subscription names, costs, billing dates, notes, and custom categories you enter are stored locally on your device using a local SQLite database.
• No Cloud or Server Uploads: We do not operate remote databases or cloud sync servers for this application. We do not collect, process, or store your personal or financial records.
• No Identifiers or IP Logging: The application does not connect to external analytics or telemetry servers, and we do not log IP addresses or hardware identifiers.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

• No Advertisements: Dues contains no third-party advertising SDKs (such as AdMob).
• No Analytics: We do not embed tracking SDKs, telemetry, or analytics platforms (such as Firebase Analytics or Facebook SDK).
• No Data Sharing or Sale: Because no data is collected, we do not sell, rent, or trade your data with any third party.

4. Device Permissions

Dues requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function as an offline reminder app:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used exclusively to display local notifications on your device when a subscription or bill is due.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM & USE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to schedule precise reminder alarms locally on your device.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to reschedule your upcoming bill notifications if your phone restarts.

5. Data Control and Deletion

You retain full ownership and control over your records at all times:

• Backup & Export: You can export and restore your local records using the built-in backup features.
• Data Deletion: You can permanently wipe all data at any time by going to your Android device settings (Settings > Apps > Dues > Storage > Clear Data) or by uninstalling the application.

6. Children's Privacy

Dues does not address anyone under the age of 13, nor does it knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. All records stay solely on the local hardware.

7. Security

Because all data remains exclusively on your device hardware, the security of your records relies on the device-level protection of your Android device (such as your device PIN, passcode, or biometrics).
